I strive to practice what I teach and prioritize exercise in my daily routine. I enjoy strength training 3-4 days mixed with pilates, walking 7000 to 10000 steps a day, and incorporating mobility work and cardio, primarily through HIIT. I love a good challenge- recently, my husband and I tackled several Spartan Races.
Having been vegetarian for most of my life, I’m passionate about helping patients discover the best lifestyle for their unique needs, whether it’s plant-based, Mediterranean, or a gradual improvement based on their current habits. I focus on teaching patients how to incorporate healthy proteins, increase fiber intake, balance carbs and fats, and minimize sugar and processed foods.
I make it a habit to practice daily meditation, write in my gratitude journal, and focus on enhancing my relaxation response to manage stress as effectively as possible. I am committed to teaching my patients how to integrate better stress management techniques into their own lives for improved well-being.
